We have had a busy start to this season with over well over 300 games across all age groups as we continue to grow as a club with 33 teams now playing in the yellow & blue of Firhouse Carmel FC across boys, girls, men & the new women's team. Our Academy is a weekly highlight which caters for Boys & Girls aged 4-7... New members always welcome!

We celebrated a milestone within the clubs history with our 50th Anniversary which was celebrated at a Gala Event held in The Maldron Hotel in early October which was well attended by club members and players of past and present. On the night we recognized the significant contribution of a couple of people who have dedicated so much of their time over the years to our club. They include John Regan for his continuous support and sponsorship of our club, Denis Keily & Grainne O' Donnell who after many years of volunteering, have decided to step away from the club at committee level but remain involved throughout the club. Another who was acknowledged recently for his time over many years was Michael Kinsella who has given over 20 years to our club.

In November we were successful in our initial FAI Club Mark application. This award is an acknowledgement of our club being run within best practices laid out by FAI.


While I hope that everyone has an enjoyable time over the coming days and weeks, I am well aware that might not be the case for some people who around this challenging time are dealing with feelings of sadness, loneliness or personal struggles. If you are one of those people please reach out for help whether it be through a family member, a friend or a service provider listed below.

A big Thank You to all our coaches, managers and committee members who have given their time to their teams and the club so far this season and who will return early in the New Year with a big year ahead for our club and continue the continuous work involved.
